Mitihoon – Bangkok, 24 August 2026 – Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), part of BHIRAJ BURI GROUP, is honoured to be the official venue for GASTECH 2026, the 54th edition of the world’s largest exhibition and conference for natural gas, LNG, hydrogen, climate technologies and AI in energy. Taking place from 14–17 September 2026, the event will bring together global energy leaders, policymakers and industry experts in Bangkok. Organised by dmg events, with Thailand’s Ministry of Energy as host, the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) as national co-host, and PTT and EGAT as national consortium co-hosts, GASTECH 2026 marks a significant achievement for Bangkok and Thailand’s MICE industry. For BITEC, being selected as the official venue reflects the confidence placed in its ability to deliver high-profile international events while supporting Thailand’s continued development as a destination for global exhibitions, conferences and business events. Crucially, the event will generate substantial economic impact for the city; with an expected influx of over 50,000 international visitors from more than 150 countries, the exhibition will drive significant local spending and create immense value across Bangkok’s hospitality, tourism and service sectors.

With global AI data centre capacity soaring and Thailand positioning itself as a regional hub for digital infrastructure, this dedicated forum will feature 120 speakers across 28 sessions. Energy ministers, hyperscaler procurement leads, utility CEOs and infrastructure investors will convene to address critical challenges around power generation, grid resilience and the operational role of industrial AI.
