The Mid-Autumn Festival season has officially arrived, bringing with it one of Bangkok’s most anticipated culinary traditions. This year, Gourmet Eats is marking the occasion with “Gourmet Mooncake Festival 2026”, a showcase of more than 50 mooncake brands from leading hotels and restaurants, all gathered under one roof at Gourmet Hall, Paragon Department Store.

Held under the theme “The Process, Behind Every Mooncake,” the festival goes beyond the mooncake itself to spotlight the craftsmanship, heritage and creativity behind each creation. Visitors can discover signature collections from renowned names including Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, The Peninsula Bangkok, Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, Dusit Thani Bangkok, The Athenee Hotel, Royal Osha, Lady M New York, and many more.

The festival reflects the evolution of mooncakes from a traditional Mid-Autumn delicacy into a sought-after seasonal gift. Alongside time-honoured recipes passed down through generations, visitors will find contemporary interpretations featuring innovative flavours, artistic presentation and thoughtfully designed packaging.

More than ever, today’s consumers are looking for gifts that tell a story. Craftsmanship, attention to detail, exclusivity and meaningful design have become as important as taste. As a result, mooncakes have emerged as a versatile and accessible gift choice, offering a thoughtful way to celebrate family reunions, express appreciation and share festive wishes with loved ones.

Whether you are drawn to classic Cantonese-style mooncakes, modern flavour combinations or collectible gift boxes, the festival offers a diverse selection for every preference and occasion.

Gourmet Mooncake Festival 2026 runs until September 25, 2026 at Gourmet Eats and participating locations, including Paragon Department Store, Emquartier, Emporium, The Mall Lifestore Bangkae, Ngamwongwan, Bangkapi and Thapra, The Mall Korat, Gourmet Market at Design Village Phutthamonthon and Bangna, as well as MRT Lat Phrao Station.
