Thai Credit Bank Public Company Limited (CREDIT) announced its full-scale aggressive business strategy for the second half of 2026 by focusing on strong and sustainable growth driven by technology and Fintech, showcasing four key achievements from the first half of the year as the solid foundation to expand growth of its loan portfolio by double digits, reinforcing its commitment to being the leading financial institution for retail loans in Thailand.

Mr. Roy Agustinus Gunara, Chief Executive Officer of Thai Credit Bank Public Company Limited (CREDIT) stated that “Regarding the business direction for the second half of the year, the bank is ready to accelerate loan portfolio expansion by developing products and building a robust financial ecosystem to support Micro-SME (MSME), including Nano and Micro Credit lending. Building on
our successful momentum four key achievements from the first half of the year which are;
- Strong Growth: Driven loan growth to meet targets, with loan expansion of 13.1% YoY to 194,080.5 million THB. The bank has launched six new MSME Business Centers in key strategic provinces nationwide to strengthen regional SME network collaboration.
- Strategy Adjustment to Improve NIM: Introduced new products to optimize yields and risk management, including “SME Kla Chuai” (For entrepreneurs with land or land with building), “SME Kla Soo” (Utilizing Risk-Based Pricing models), and “Micro Max” (Expanding credit limits for wholesalers and retailers nationwide), alongside with the continuing strong growth momentum in personal loans.
- MSME Empowerment: Expanded financial access to unlock business potential and growth opportunities for small business owners while fully driving the government’s “Quick Big Win” policy to deliver targets and timely financial aid.
- Stable NPL and Asset Quality: Enhanced debtor screening and quality of new account opening, altogether with debt collection efficiency, proactive debt restructuring and relief measures for MSMEs debtors to keep NPLs stable and sustainable.
These successes are reflected in our first half of 2026’s performance which met all the targets:
loan portfolio growth of 13.1% YoY (aligning with the double-digit target), Return on Equity (ROE) at a strong 16.1% (within the 16.0–20.0% target range), Cost-to-Income Ratio (CIR) managed at 43.2%, and NPL Ratio kept low at 4.3% (better than the target of under 4.5%).
Looking ahead, the bank will continue focusing on expanding its retail and underserved Micro-SME customer base, accelerating digital transformation via the Micro Pay e-wallet and alpha by Thai Credit applications, preparing to launch a new Core Banking system to optimize operational efficiency and long-term costs, and continuing financial literacy projects to cultivate financial discipline and sustainably minimize NPL risks.
